Free Music on a Mission

The young, talented, and enthusiastic harpist, Peter Stigdon, will be the featured performer in the next First at Two music series concert. Mr. Stigdon’s repertoire will demonstrate his interest in performing contemporary music as well as music that is less familiar, challenging to play, and stunning to hear.

“Peter is a recent graduate of Concordia University Chicago with concentrations in harp, organ, and composition,” explained First at Two creator Christopher Lorimer. “He’s been a featured soloist with both the Wind Symphony and Chamber Orchestra and has toured nationally with these groups, including a stop a Carnegie Hall. First at Two is fortunate to have Peter fit us into his busy performance schedule.”

First at Two’s mission is to offer free concerts to make the musical arts more accessible to more people and to fund local non-profit organizations. A goodwill offering from the performance will benefit Dance On, a dance company dedicated to promoting inclusion and empowerment, especially in the face of adversity.
