The pandemic era has changed the world in many ways and everyone wonders, to a greater or lesser degree, “Where do we go from here?”

To help answer that question, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville, invites you to join “Healing and Re-Building Community,” a Zoom meeting that will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1. The program will help develop and try out tools for ways to relate one another, and ways to work through the griefs and losses COVID and its variants have brought.

Featured guest speaker will be Bernadette Beyer, a pastoral counselor at Mayslake Ministries in Oakbrook Terrace who also maintains a private practice. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) whose presentation will include time for questions and sharing experiences.

Registration for the program is required by Friday, Jan. 28, to ensure receiving the Zoom link necessary to join the program. To register, contact REAdmin@stapostle.org or call (630) 355-8089, ext. 118.

The program, co-sponsored by the pastoral care and adult faith formation departments at St. Thomas Church, is part of the Wellspring Educational Events series. The series’ goal is promoting a wholistic way of life that includes body-mind-spirit integration and well-being.

For more information about “Healing and Re-Building Community” or the Wellspring Educational Events series, contact Felicia Lawlor, faith community nurse at St. Thomas the Apostle, at flawlor@stapostle.org or (630) 355-8980, ext. 104.
